The Port of La Libertad Pier in El Salvador is a new tourist attraction within the Surf City project. The pier offers stunning ocean views and a vibrant atmosphere that enhances the region’s appeal, drawing visitors to explore the area’s natural beauty and local culture.

The Puerto de La Libertad pier joins the other popular attractions in La Libertad that are part of the first circuit of the Surf City El Salvador tourist project.

The Port of La Libertad Pier was inaugurated in November 2024 and is one of the projects funded by the People’s Republic of China.

The 200-meter-long pier features a restaurant and is located next to the historic artisanal pier, which will remain active for fishing. The old pier is an iconic place in La Libertad City.

The La Libertad tourist pier links with the Mercado del Mar fish market and with the Sunset Park gastronomic plaza. Furthermore, it is near Sunset Park, which is another project paid for by the People’s Republic of China.
