According to the Ilopango Air Show website, the idea of holding an air show in El Salvador was born in 1996 at the initiative of two members of the Aeroclub of El Salvador, Federico Batlle and Carlos Panama.
The first one was held in January 1997 with the participation of both national and international performers. The first international performers to accept an invitation to participate in our show were “The Northern Lights.”
