Why surf in El Salvador instead of Costa Rica?

So, why surf in El Salvador instead of Costa Rica? Well, because of the uncrowded waves, the fantastic right-hand point breaks, the cost to visit, the location of the surf spots, the consistency of the waves, and because El Salvador has surf spots for all types of surfers.

Don’t get me wrong, there are many good reasons why surfing in Costa Rica has been highly popular for decades, and it will continue to be. Costa Rica is very stable and safe, the waves are excellent, the people are friendly, and the cost is reasonable.
